About Karen's Place Maternity Center
This residential facility specializes in treating pregnant and postpartum women with substance use disorders. Opened in 2018, they provide hope and safety to expecting mothers on their recovery journey. This facility can accommodate up to 21 women and women are eligible to stay for the duration of their pregnancy and up to 3 months after delivery. In addition to providing group therapy, psychoeducation, and 12-Step programming to treat addiction, women learn neonatal skills, bond with their child, and work with case managers to address holistic topics like education, housing, and vocational needs. Karen’s Place Maternity Center is CARF accredited and accepts Kentucky Medicaid plans.
