Archangel Retreat is a residential treatment center exclusively dedicated to adolescents and young adults ages 15-23 who are struggling with mood disorders, behavioural problems, and adverse childhood experiences. The young adults resides at Archangel Retreat while they actively engage parents and the broader family to participate in their own therapy and psychoeducation, so as a family they can grow together. Archangel Retreat can help families and young adults with whatever kind of disruptive issues they are facing. This is usually a symptom of an underlying issue, and Archangel's approach is one which tackles the root cause through its teams' expertise in trauma and tackling adverse childhood experiences. Archangel Retreat's approach to therapy is considered humanistic, person centered at the core and Post Induction Therapy informed. They use therapies such as cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioural therapy (DBT), motivational interviewing (MI), and psychodynamic modalities. Archangel Retreat’s goal is to tackle abuse and diverse childhood experiences and the visible behaviours that happen due to trauma or abuse. Archangel Retreat has a maximum of 5 clients at a time, and their client to staff ratio is 2:1. They provide family, parent, couples, and 1-on-1 therapy as required and group sessions are 10 hours per week. Archangel Retreat offers aftercare for both young adults and parents separately for 6 months to ensure parenting support continues and the young adult has the support they need too. Each session is 1.5 hours per week. Treatments are highly confidential which is of the utmost importance to Archangel Retreat. A typical length of stay is 4 weeks and can run around $32,000.

Their accommodations are modern and luxurious and all clients receive a private double room and ensuite bathroom.
