About Blue Sky Behavioral Health
Blue Sky Behavioral Health offers an enhanced treatment program and an intensive outpatient program. They offer supportive independent living with case management and life skills training for those who need a respite from home but do not need a full residential stay. Blue Sky Behavioral Health treats men and women who are struggling with alcohol and drug addictions and co-occurring mental health disorders. Clients attend treatment Monday-Friday as part of the partial hospitalization program (PHP). Transportation is provided, and clients can go to and from treatment, shopping, and any other necessary excursions. Upon admission, clients are drug screened and provided and individualized plan. A life coach works with all clients and is available 24 hours a day for emotional and practical support. Life coaches help the clients with paying bills, looking for work, and learning new life skills. Medication management can be offered for those requiring dual diagnosis support. Treatment length can vary, but it typically lasts 30 days. Blue Sky Behavioral Health provides evidence-based therapeutic treatment. Clients are exposed to different therapies including 12-Step facilitation, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), group and individual therapy, motivational interviewing (MI), eye movement reprocessing and desensitization (EMDR), rational emotive behavior (REB), and exposure response prevention (ERP). Blue Sky Behavioral Health is accredited by CARF and accepts most forms of insurance.
Blue Sky Behavioral Health provides off site accommodations at a residential home and apartments. Men and women are divided into their own apartments, and clients sleep in semi-private or private rooms. All furnishings are provided for the homes, including laundry facilities on-site. Food is not included in the price, and clients go shopping and cook for themselves. The money for groceries is given to the client directly, or to the client’s assigned life coach. Grocery shopping is completed with roommates and under the supervision of a life coach who will also assist in meal planning and making healthy choices.
