Desert Hope Treatment Center is part of the American Addictions Centers family, a nationwide provider of addiction treatment that has been providing high-quality addiction care since 2013. Desert Hope Treatment Center’s full continuum of care includes medical detox and residential treatment, as well as various forms of outpatient treatment. They also offer specialized care for veterans and first responders, trauma survivors and LBGTQ+ clients. Treatment at Desert Hope focuses on the individual's specific needs and addresses any co-occurring mental health conditions contributing to addiction.
Desert Hope’s range of evidence-based treatments includes cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), motivational interviewing, drug education, and group and individual therapy. They offer traditional 12-Step programs and groups, plus alternative meetings like SMART programming. Expert staff dedicated to helping clients find recovery from addiction lead all programs and therapies.
Situated in Las Vegas, Desert Hope is a sizable, prestigious addiction treatment facility with private and semi-private lodging options. The Desert Hope property has a fitness center, a meditation walking path, garden, dining area, music room, and various fountain features across their beautiful property. Men and women reside separately and may attend several gender-separate group therapies.

Recognizing no two clients are alike in their treatment needs, Desert Hope provides a range of treatments. Customized treatment plans may include various levels of care (detox, residential, outpatient, sober living, and more), evidence-based therapies, specialized programs, 12-Step programming, or alternative 12-Step care like SMART programming. A combination of approaches and therapies helps ensure every client gets the tailored treatment they need.
Desert Hope has a specialized program for Veterans and first responders, catering to the unique backgrounds and needs of each group. This program, called Salute to Recovery, helps clients work through issues such as post-traumatic stress, grief, loss, and hypervigilance.
Desert Hope offers other forms of specialized care, including an LGBTQ+ track and trauma-informed treatment. Treatment is targeted to address the nuanced needs of each patient/population, helping clients learn how to manage stressors and challenges without drugs or alcohol.
Clients at Desert Hope will go through treatment in comfort, with access to outdoor recreational activities, a gym, mindfulness spaces, and 3 chef-prepared meals per day. Desert Hope allows access to technology after a mandatory blackout period at the start of treatment. Elective-style scheduling mimics collegiate schedules, with clients having the ability to choose elective groups outside their core treatment groups.
