I found the whole experience from day 1 to present day 4 years on incredibly positive. At FF you know there is a fundamental sense of empathy and understanding for your child and the impact their addiction has on all the family. I like the way the whole family are engaged in the recovery process and the feeling of hope the people and the process at FF gives. The toughest part is the initial 2 week period with no contact with your child. There is a very steep learning curve to how the process works and entrusting your child to the care of strangers when you know how much pain they are in is the hardest part.

We are incredibly grateful for all FFAS has done for our son & our family! Their approach to treating the family as a whole, helped us connect with our son and start the healing process for all of us. it’s also important to mention they have an amazing parent support group to share your struggles with others on this journey in a safe, supportive and judgment free space.

Professionally I would qualify as an expert in adolescent treatment. When it became time for my son to attend treatment, my first thought was family first. That being said, I was completely blown away at the operational and clinical excellence of this program
