About Futures Mental Health Program
Just off the Atlantic coast, Futures Mental Health Program treats adults experiencing depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder (BPD), and other mood conditions. Through compassionate care and tailored therapies, Futures helps patients learn to navigate life’s everyday challenges, including work stress, parental and family relationships, financial pressures, and other issues that can trigger and exacerbate the symptoms of mental health conditions. Patients receive integrated psychiatry, medication management, individual and group psychotherapy sessions, recreational therapy, and family therapy for well rounded treatment. Futures additionally has a family therapy program to involve and educate loved ones on important steps in the recovery process.
Futures Mental Health Program’s treatment, curriculum, and campus environment are designed to foster comfort, holistic well-being, and a community of solidarity and support. Some of the activities their patients get to partake in include group recreation activities, exercise, and self-care. They also have chefs prepare nutritious meals, as they believe that diet plays an important role in recovery and everyday well-being. Futures offers all patients private bedrooms and bathrooms, television, internet, and a shared common space. They additionally have a large outdoor space and pool to enjoy the Florida sun.
