Hillside specializes in the psychiatric care of young people who struggle with primary mental health conditions through various levels of individualized treatment programs.
About Hillside
Hillside is a residential, non-profit treatment facility that specializes in the care of children and adults between the ages of 10 and 17 struggling with a range of mental health conditions like anxiety, bipolar disorder, and ADHD. They offer residential care, day programs, and outpatient services. Hillside’s mission is to reach children and teens where they are at, whether at home, in school, or in the community. The caring staff is fully trained in dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), and treatment includes evidence-based modalities and holistic services. Residents will engage in horticulture, recreation, and art therapies. Family involvement is also incorporated to build a complete wrap-around support structure that improves family dynamics.
Hillside is nestled on a beautiful, wooded 13-acre property. Residents stay in supervised, dorm-like cottages and can enjoy healthy meals with peers. The property has an on-site school, garden, greenhouse, medical area, and large dinning hall. Numerous recreational activities are available both indoors and outdoors. Residents can enjoy a basketball court and swimming pool. Hillside is an excellent option for anyone seeking well-rounded care with a team of experts.
