About Life Healing Center
Life Healing Center has provided personalized care for mental health, trauma and addiction since 1993. Their services include medically monitored detox, residential treatment, a partial hospitalization program (PHP), and aftercare. They use evidence-based, experiential, and peer-supported treatment to help clients heal long term. Life Healing Center provides expert-led care, with psychiatrists, masters-level therapists, doctors, and nursing staff.
Life Healing Center customizes the care plan of each client after an initial psychiatric assessment and evaluation. Clients have 3 individual therapy sessions each week, with a total of 50 weekly therapeutic hours. Life Healing’s therapies include cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), 12-Step groups, gender-specific groups, family therapy, motivational interviewing techniques, and psychoeducation. Their experiential therapies include yoga, massage, somatic experiencing, craniosacral therapy, Reiki, equine therapy, and sound therapy.
Nurses and medical staff monitor detox 24/7. Clients can attend therapy during detox if able. Life Healing Center’s primary mental health program can help clients with mood disorders like depression, bipolar disorder, borderline personality disorder, anxiety, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).
Life Healing Center’s location in Santa Fe offers clients a warm, peaceful place to heal. Clients share one of 10 cabins on Life Healing Center’s campus. On site, clients can enjoy scenic views, horses, a meditative labyrinth, and chef-prepared meals.
