Often when you refer a client to a treatment center, many times they do not show up and follow your intervention. However, the clients that have fallen through and have come to Luna come home as a new person. The program is individually focused on the needs of each client. The people who founded Luna, have been through addiction themselves, which makes it very relevant for the clients that come to them. They pick the best clinicians in town to work with them. They are generous and psychologically savvy and loving human beings. Every client I have sent them, comes home like a new person and so far everyone of them have stayed sober. Or gotten so and finish their sobriety after returning home. They have saved many lives. I have the greatest respect for them. After 42 years of being a clinician in Houston, Texas, Luna is always my first choice when I need a treatment center.
