About Muir Wood for Girls
Muir Wood Teen Treatment can help teenage girls manage their mental health and substance use disorders. It provides a gender-specific and nurturing environment for clients to undergo a combination of evidence-based and holistic treatment. These Include experiential therapies, fitness and nutrition, medication-assisted treatment (MAT), and GeneSite testing, among others.
The facility is staffed by a highly credentialed clinical team with on-site psychiatric, medical, and nursing services. Upon arrival, Muir Wood’s care team helps determine the level of care needed for each client. Their all-female staff offer a supportive and comforting atmosphere for clients, helping recovery become their main focus.
Clients attend onsite class while also participating in recreational activities like hiking, horseback riding, arts and crafts, and music therapies. Girls share a spacious and modern bedroom with en-suite bathroom, fully furnished with new linens to provide an inviting environment.
