The program begins with a drug-free, nonmedical withdrawal process designed to assist the client to come off drugs as rapidly and comfortably as possible. Next, Narconon combines exercise, nutrition, and sweating in a dry heat sauna to help drug users eliminate the harmful residues that drive cravings. I watched a dear friend progress through the Narconon program and come out bright and sober at the end. Jail had not helped her, medications hadn't helped her. But Narconon put her back in control of her life. She was able to go home and take care of her girls again and set a good example for them. The Narconon staff were supportive and understanding of what she was going through and that made a big difference.

The Narconon Program is special. It helps people achieve sobriety without the use of drug substitution. Its unique Sauna Program rids the body of drug residuals. It teaches Life Skills, so the newly sober individual has tools and skills to continue to live a life without drug dependency. I've known so many graduates of the Narconon Program who have gone on to live drug-free and purposeful lives, achieving goals probably far beyond what they envisioned they could do. Narconon Suncoast is a beautiful facility with an experienced, dedicated and caring staff. They are there to help addicts get sober and live a life free from the chains of addiction.
