The programs that are offered include detox, residential, partial hospitalization (PHP), intensive outpatient (IOP), sober living, and continuing care. The types of therapy that are used include cognitive behavioral (CBT), dialectical cognitive behavioral (DBT), experiential therapy, and mindfulness-based (MBCT). Pocono Mountain Recovery Center accepts most major forms of insurance, and they are always willing to partner with new providers.
Pocono Mountain recovery is located on 10 acres of land in the mountains. The facility dining is both tasty and nutritious and provided daily by an executive chef and his team. Their 9,000 square foot building is used for exercise and recreational purposes, as well as meetings and special events. The amenities include BBQ pits, picnic tables, sand volleyball courts, walking trails, and an indoor gymnasium. The accommodations include shared rooms and spacious common areas.
