About Positive Sobriety Institute
Positive Sobriety Institute is designed for young men and women with professional careers and family responsibilities. Founded in 2014, Positive Sobriety Institute staffs licensed clinical professional counselors (LCPC), advanced practice nurses (APN), registered nurses (RN), and certified alcohol and drug counselors (CADC), along with a therapist and psychiatrist. Their main focus is alcohol and drug addictions and dual diagnosis mental disorders. Positive Sobriety Institute is located in one of downtown Chicago’s highrises, just minutes away from Lake Michigan, with amenities such as a full gym, pool and jacuzzi, tennis court, billiards room, and amazing views of Chicago.
Positive Sobriety’s treatment process uses addiction and psychiatric assessments, addiction counseling, holistic approaches, and a relapse prevention program. Positive Sobriety offers treatment programs uniquely addressing addiction in individuals with high stake careers. Professionals work hard to build a career and many of them have spouses and children who depend on them. This can be stressful and turning to alcohol and drugs can result in addiction and future consequences. The professionals they treat are lawyers, doctors, physicians, nurses, professional athletes, business executives, dentists and pharmacists.
