Settled by the Susquehanna River, The Ranch Pennsylvania offers family participation and adventure-based therapy for individuals seeking treatment.
About The Ranch Pennsylvania
The Ranch in Pennsylvania is a residential treatment center that specializes in substance use disorder with a special emphasis on treating co-occurring mental health conditions. The Ranch was founded on the principles that people are all different, they need to be treated holistically, and recovery should help integrate the person as a whole. The Ranch does not adopt one model or approach to treatment, but instead draws upon several evidence-based modalities in order to give each client the comprehensive care they need to address their unique issues. The dual-diagnosis program usually starts with medical detox. After detox, clients will get to know their counselors and begin to find what therapy works best for them. The ranch offers a variety of therapies such as adventure-based therapies, trauma-informed treatment, 12-step programs, talk therapy, EMDR, CBT, nativie american healing traditions, energy work, and equine therapy. Family involvement is greatly encouraged. The ranch also provides a nutritional therapy program and yoga therapy program.
The Ranch Pennsylvania offers a comfortable home-like recovery center overlooking the beautiful Susquehanna River. Housing is gender-specific with comfortable accommodations. Clients can enjoy a variety of activities such as horseback riding, an on-site ropes course, adventure outings, and games. The Ranch Pennsylvania is accredited by the Joint Commision and accepts most private insurance.
