About Rio Retreat Center At The Meadows
Rio Retreat Center at The Meadows offers weekly workshops that address trauma, relationships, personal growth, grief, loss, and addictions. In Wickenburg, Arizona, Master's-level therapists lead workshops for clients using psychoeducational therapy, experiential therapy, 12-step program, and other evidence based approaches. These workshops run from Sunday to Friday, and the day begins at 7am. Rio Retreat Center also offers gender-specific sessions and mindfulness specific groups.
At Rio Retreat Center, there are many activities offered including yoga, Tai Chi, barbeques, games, art and music therapy, acupuncture, and equine therapy. Lodging is between $700-$1,400 per workshop attended. Modeled after a historic dude ranch, the accommodations at the Rio Retreat Center are private rooms, along with shared rooms at the Bunkhouse. These rooms have wifi and cable and are fully furnished with either a single queen bed or two twins. All rooms have a bathroom en suite. While a client is participating in treatment, all meals are provided and prepared by an in house chef. All meals are created by a nutritionist and are balanced and organic, and snacks are also available at the lodge.
