Four different programming options cater to working and non-working clients in different stages of recovery. Their program lasts a minimum of 90 days, with afterhour group sessions held for working clients and a day program option for non-working clients.
Sandhurst provides sober living in 4 stages. In each, patients enjoy 3 healthy meals a day, a supportive living environment, and optional individual counseling sessions. Their second-stage option includes five process groups each week, held in the evening for working professionals, parents, and students. Sandhurst’s third option leads process groups in the daytime. Their fourth stage incorporates extended recovery groups and self-esteem groups. Individualized therapy is an add-on in each stage, and highly recommended. Virtual step-down programs meet 3 times a week or just once.
Process groups include educational groups, 12-Step facilitation, codependency topics, animal therapy, volunteering sessions, weekly house meetings, and cooking classes. Weekly objectives and relapse prevention sessions give clients more support, as do family groups. Sandhurst Manor also provides optional activities that include dietary treatment, sessions with a massage therapist, horseback riding, personal training, and yoga. These elements enhance Sandhurst’s holistic healing and self-esteem focus, helping clients recover inside and out.
