Steps Together offers a combination of residential and outpatient therapy in luxury residential settings. Their Rainford Hall estate is just 1 out of the 5 locations Steps Together offers.
Steps Together’s approach rests on 3 pivotal pillars: reset, reframe, and recover. During treatment, Steps Together takes a personalized approach to recovery, offering client-centered therapy like individual talk therapy, art and music therapy, 12-Step groups, and mindfulness. They also have friendly dogs on-site that guests can interact with or take for contemplative walks.
Compassion and expertise drive the staff at Steps Together. Their combined experience makes them highly qualified in addiction and mental health treatment, clinically and therapeutically. Clients at Rainford Hall receive detox if it’s needed, led by clinicians for comfort and safety. Outpatient programs and aftercare keep clients well-supported and connected to recovery as they return to their homes and lives.
Rainford Hall is located on 600 acres in the peaceful countryside between Lancashire and Merseyside. Their elegant home boasts colonial decor and large social spaces, including a grand dining room, a fully equipped gymnasium, private therapy rooms, beautiful treatment lounges, and an on-site spa. Steps Together provides 19 private bedroom suites, along with gourmet meals prepared by in-house chefs that can accommodate specific dietary needs.

I came into Rainford Hall feeling lost, burnt out and very unwell. I had completely lost my self-belief, sense of direction and purpose in life. Two weeks later, I left Rainford Hall with improved physical, mental and emotional health. My focus, determination and direction in life had returned and I felt ‘alive’ again! This is all due to the staff - their experience, empathy, wisdom and incredible support.

As a Boy/Man I grew up in a fairly materialistic background yet found life on life’s terms hard to deal with, not being taught how to cope with certain sensations and feelings throughout my formulative years alas turning to alcohol and drugs to ‘get by’ as I saw it, and in the end it became a matter of survival and I ended up a cynical/hopeless/suicidal 27 year old confused and bewildered on how to self regulate or make sense of just how I was consistently going wrong Steps Together gave me certain life tools/skills that will forever stay with me born from the environment that Steps give. Every single staff member there gave me what, only now I know most a curious ear to listen too and genuine interest in untangling what exactly what was going on with me. Without the intervention of Steps Together I am 90 percent sure I would not be here gratefully writing this message.

Staff are brilliant, supportive, friendly and very caring. I needed emergency surgery during my stay and the staff really looked after me when i returned from hospital. The group of people I was with were fantastic and i'm still in touch with most of them today. The food was lovely and I was treated to some lovely cupcakes as it was my birthday at the beginning of my stay.

The staff were excellent, the setting was lovely and nice to be in the countryside. The external speakers and specialists were great and the food was amazing.Bedrooms were of a poor standard. Single bed and toilet in the same tiny room.No facilities other than a tv room for recreation.

The staff are lovely. Interested in all the clients, knowledgeable, empathetic, caring and professional. The regime is well planned out and provides clients with excellent support and treatment. The premises and its location are great and it is definietly a luxury rehab centre. This was my second visit in 3 years and I was still very impressed and grateful for the service they provide.

I spend 30 days at The Steps Together facility in Leicester. From the moment I arrived I knew I was in safe hands. The detox process lasted about 5 days and then I was able to join the therapy sessions. All the staff are fantastic and the therapists really helped me unravel some deep routed beliefs, feelings and trauma which were all driving my addiction.

There was a feeling of togetherness. We were all striving for the same goal and were willing to help each other along the way. The staff were friendly and welcoming. No one gave orders. It was the first time I had felt relaxed in a long while. The food was good too.

I stayed at Bank House for 28 days. I couldn't believe that I ended up in a rehab setting, but after all, I was in complete denial about how alcohol had gripped and dominated my life. The welcome I received was compassionate, kind and non-judgemental. The setting was more like a 'home' and the people who worked and lived in it soon became my temporary family. The food was delicious and the house was homely. The therapy sessions, both group and individual were powerful and life changing. I owe a debt of gratitude to all at Bank House - the experience gave me my life back, as well as giving back a husband and father.

When I arrived I was scared, confused and unwell. The staff, without exception, made me feel welcome and safe. The process was well explained and started without delay. I had no pre conceptions about what would happen but felt everything was explained well. As my stay progressed I always felt well suported and informed. To be honest I dont know what I wanted but this seemed to provide everything I needed.
