The Emily Program Anna Westin House was opened in 2002. It was created in memory of Anna Westin, a Chaska woman who died in 2000 after battling an eating disorder. The Emily Program offers day treatment, intensive outpatient services (IOP), partial hospitalization (PHP), residential care, and outpatient services. The Emily Program treats adults and adolescents along with co-occurring mental health conditions. The Anna Westin House was designed to provide residential treatment specifically for adults. Clients will participate in group sessions, a variety of individual sessions, and therapeutic meals and snacks. Sessions include psychotherapy, family therapy, nutrition, art therapy, medical assessments and monitoring, psychiatric visits, and other services during the week. Each client's schedule is personalized to meet their specific needs.
The Anna Westin House is located in a quiet neighborhood of St. Paul, Minnesota. The facility is a 16-bed, beautiful renovated church. The unique accommodations offer vaulted ceilings, spacious common areas, WiFi, therapeutic meals, and laundry facilities. Clients can enjoy yoga and meditation on-site. The Emily Program is accredited by CARF and accepts most private insurance.
