Willingway treatment center has just celebrated 50 years of continuous treatment. They specialize in substance abuse treatment and offer a full continuum of care. Willingway has a variety of programs including medical detoxification, short term and long term residential treatment, extended treatment, outpatient, and a 5-day family program. Willingway’s residential program lasts up to 6 weeks. Inpatient provides the best opportunity for clients to learn new tools for living without mood-altering substances. During their stay, clients have the opportunity to engage in a variety of therapies like individual counseling, family counseling, 12-Step facilitation, group therapy, and relapse prevention. Clients who choose extended services are housed in gender-specific residences located throughout Statesboro, Georgia. The homes provide a supportive, structured environment where individuals can build skills for living sober one day at a time. The family program is designed to integrate the clients’ families into the recovery process and allow them the opportunity to begin to heal. Willingway also provides aftercare services. After residential treatment, clients can partake in weekly support groups located in 13 towns throughout the southeast. All clients receive support and encouragement from people who have travelled the road to recovery before them or who have experience, strength, and hope to share with others.
The Willingway campus is nestled on 11 acres. The wooded property and on-site pond makes for a peaceful backdrop for clients and their families. Willingway’s main campus is on Lake Raymond. Clients can use their duck pond that is stocked for fishing. The wooded lake makes for an ideal setting for meditative walks. The campus provides private rooms with spacious common areas. Clients can also enjoy the on-site pool and modern gym.
