The Willows at Red Oak Recovery is a clinically dynamic and trauma intensive substance abuse and mental health treatment center for young adult women.
About The Willows at Red Oak Recovery
The Willows at Red Oak Recovery is a women only, ages 18-35 treatment center with a goal to better the lives of young women for the long run. Their focus on gender allows them to tailor their programs specifically for what is most effective for women. They provide individualized, person-centered substance abuse, trauma, and co-occurring mental health treatment, as well as eating disorder support. Some therapies they use include cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), rational emotive behavioral therapy (REBT), and relapse prevention education.
The Willows helps young women learn how to establish better nutritional and physical health, identify and deal with stress in a positive way, increase their self-esteem, develop a greater sense of purpose and self, and reconnect with their families. They achieve this through their blend of evidence-based practices with holistic practices. Another benefit of going to a center like The Willows at Red Oak Recovery is the easy access to nature. They include activities such as yoga, canoeing, horseback riding, and fly fishing into their program. They additionally provide aftercare support programs and an alumni network to help their clients even after they leave the facility.
