About Youth Care
Youth Care is a beautiful campus-style rehabilitation center for adolescents and children in Utah. Youth Care has residential treatment programs, accredited academic programs, and day treatment programs. Youth Care treats young girls and boys who are suffering from anxiety, obsessive compulsive disorder, bipolar disorder, behavioral health disorders, oppositional defiant disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), suicidal ideations and self harm, and co-occurring addictions. Youth Care uses behavior modification techniques, family treatment, recreational therapy, and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT). Most programs are gender-specific and age-specific. Youth Care is an active participant in The Jason Foundation, which is committed to developing nationwide awareness and preventing youth suicide. Youth Care is accredited by the Joint Commission and accepts most major insurances.
Youth Care is a beautiful rehabilitation center that is laid out similarly to a college campus. All accommodations are gender and age-specific and shared. On the campus is an indoor and outdoor basketball court, yoga lessons, a community garden, fire pit, and a fitness center. Clients are monitored during all activities and have the opportunity to go on adventurous outings.
