With over 25 years of expertise, Center for Discovery has been treating eating disorders using evidence-based therapies supported by research. Located near the coast, the La Jolla location provides 2 levels of care: residential treatment and a partial hospitalization program (PHP). Here their expert staff treat female and non-binary clients ages 16-26 with evidence-based modalities that include cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), exposure & response prevention (ERP), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), nutrition therapy, family therapy, and yoga.
Clients at Center for Discovery are given the chance to incorporate joyous movement into their lives while they are in treatment. They give patients various opportunities to participate in recreational activities and incorporate yoga into their therapeutic strategy. Clients have access to a pool, hot tub, tennis court, outdoor lounge and dining spaces on-site.
