Windmill Wellness Ranch is a dual-diagnosis inpatient and outpatient treatment center that specializes in trauma therapy, substance use disorders, and mental health. The mission of Windmill Wellness Ranch is to improve the physical, spiritual, and emotional health of the individual. They use the latest up-to-date treatments available for co-occurring disorders that include iTMS™, Trac9 assessment and monitoring, EMDR, intensive therapy, group support, nursing, and psychiatry. In addition to addressing co-occurring disorders, they have a full medical detoxification wing for those that need stabilization or detoxification. Clients in the 30 day residential treatment receive a variety of care such as psycho-education group and individual therapy, 12-step immersion or SMART recovery, CBT, life skills, art therapy, and relapse prevention and planning. During residential treatment, clients learn recovery skills, interpersonal skills and mental health management skills to manage mental health issues such as depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, and mood disorders. Clients receive 30 hours of programming per week from a variety of topics that can include communication skills, anger management, grief/loss, codependency, movement, yoga, and recovery skills. Windmill Wellness Ranch also offers a first responder treatment track specializing in treating law enforcement/first responders/veterans and the spouses and children of first responders. Upon discharge from residential care, each client will have an aftercare plan to include continued psychiatry, therapy, and any other resources needed for recovery.
Windmill Wellness is nestled on a 75-acre ranch in Canyon Lake, Texas. They provide gender-specific housing for men and women. The property features a basketball court, volleyball court, outdoor pool, and extensive nature trails for hiking. Windmill Wellness Ranch provides clients with a personal trainer, water aerobics, yoga classes, outdoor activities, massage services, and an on-site salon. This up-scale treatment center offers the latest treatment technology in a relaxed, tranquil setting. Windmill Wellness Ranch is a dog friendly facility and accepts most private insurance.
