Selah House provides treatment for women ages 12+ suffering from eating disorders. They focus on the individual, not the symptom, and consider the whole person to ensure long-term recovery. Selah House offers a full continuum of care with flexible programs including a residential program, partial hospitalization program (PHP), inpatient program, a teen program, a faith-based christian program, and aftercare services. The foundation of the program consists of constant medical and psychiatric supervision and utilizing evidence-based interventions to help process underlying issues of the eating disorders. During the day, clients progress through their individualized treat plans, including group and 1-on-1 counseling sessions. In addition, clients engage in therapeutic activities such as art therapy, nutritional counseling, yoga, and equine therapy.
Life at Selah begins with building meaningful, authentic relations with both staff and other Selah clients. Selah House provides treatment on a beautiful campus in Anderson, Indiana. The campus is made up of 78 acres of beautiful countryside, vast pastures, calming woods, and an on-site pond. The Selah campus is more like a retreat and less like a treatment center. Clients can enjoy horseback riding, hiking, wildlife viewing, and relaxing in the peaceful surroundings. Selah House provides compassionate staff and a tranquil location needed for long-term recovery.
