The athena passage and arrived in Greece without any problems and the work followed them very well and my son came back well and like the first and they have reviews after the program also so that they can see the progress of my son and give them a lot of advice

I believe that Athena Passages is a one-of-kind treatment facility. Visiting the Parthenon was amazing as I have only seen pictures in books/magazines. The staff are kind and caring and try their best to accommodate client needs. The rooms are clean, the property is well maintained. The staff will often go on Store Runs if you need anything from a Kiosk or convenience store but also get the opportunity to go shopping as a group multiple times per week. I went in the winter so I didn’t get the summer as most would expect in Greece, but we also made a trip up to the Ski Resort which was really great as well. I was able to get on the proper medications I needed and understand WHY I drink as much as I do. I haven’t had a drink in 6 months and can’t wait to be sober forever. Thank You Athena Passages!

I am forever grateful for Athena Passages for helping to give me my life back! The counselors, instructors and the entire staff are so caring and want nothing but to see you succeed. I have been to 4 rehabs throughout the last 25 years of my life as an alcoholic. I was addicted to Lyrica and alcohol for years! I wanted to quit but I was very afraid of withdrawals and even more afraid of leaving home to go into a facility. I finally decided to go to Greece instead of the government hospital. The doctors and the nurses went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable both mentally and physically while I detoxed. You can tell they all really care about the wellbeing of their patients. Today I am totally substance free, and I would never have been able to do it without Athena. If you are struggling with addictions like I was and want to get clean, I highly suggest that you choose Athena.

My husband started at Athena Passages this past March. Since then, I've called into almost all of the family meetings on Monday's and Thursday's and I just wanted to say that the info and the discussion on those calls has been life changing. Starting to think about/treating my husband's addiction as a disease has helped me start to wrap my mind around what all he's been dealing with internally and the struggle he must face every day.It's also helped me realize that nothing he was doing while using was my fault and also how much I fit into the co-dependency category. I've learned a LOT about setting healthy boundaries and how to approach him in general. I'm lucky because he seems to be 100% invested in the program and is wanting more than anything to live a sober life...so my part in that is to be supportive and to be sure to take good care of my self and my children.We have a long road ahead, but I'm learning to take it one day at a time, sometimes one moment at a time and to sit in gratitude when I start to feel impatient or overwhelmed. I'm so grateful we found Athena and am excited to see what the future holds for my husband, our friendship, our marriage and our family. We have two small boys (ages 1 and 3) and I'm so glad my husband has taken this first step to get sober at this point in their lives. It's difficult to manage everything with him gone, but it would be a lot more difficult if he were in jail or dead...which is where I believe his addiction would have landed him eventually.For the first time in forever, I feel real hope and I think he does too. Thank you! Being a part of the Athena family is helping me feel not so alone in all of this.

I just recently went through athena passages detox. I owe athena a great deal of gratitude for the impact they have had on my recovery. I don’t think i would be where I am at today if it was for athena passage’s role they have played in my life. Before i got to the detox center, admissions took the time out of there day to talk to a struggling addict in the grips of their addiction. The compassion showed in that instance, was something i had never experienced from an admissions side of a treatment center. The food is exceptional and adds to the comfort of the stay plus Greek is my favorite food so I was excited to go to Greece. Also, by adding the solution they start you down the right path from the get go. They are saving lives. Now im back home in brussels doing better than ever. Just got a new job. Now im rambling on. The place works. Bottom line !

Found this place on Luxury Rehabs. Was looking to go out of Europe initially but then I found Athena Passages in Greece and decided to give it a shot! Amazing first step for entering recovery for the first time. Athena is a really special place. Not only are you surrounded by staff in recovery, but also truly special clients around you. The medical staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Administration goes above and beyond to admit you and provide instructions for an aftercare plan. The amenities are outstanding, and the building is ridiculously clean. The Outdoor Discover Greece program makes you forget you are rehab and having fun like a kid again! It’s been a pleasure staying at this facility, and I truly am grateful for all of the support.

❤️This place brought me back to life there isn’t enough thank you or 5 stars that I can give them they deserve 10000 stars. When I was in the darkest place of my life I found out about this place and like any addict I was scared I didn’t even know if I had the strength to get through it the minute, I walked in I was introduce to a woman named Victoria, the warmth she gave my heart and the welcoming she gave me walking into this told me ok I’m in good hands. Her personality was so real and understanding that I knew right away I was in the right place. Throughout my stay they gained me my strength back through detox and prayer I have fully healed and cleaned I recommend anyone who is struggling with any addiction to come here it is a small environment where everyone here is going through the same thing you are, my overall experience was roller coaster of emotions but with the therapy and nursing they offer I am brand new and back to my who I am. I cannot thank Athena Passages enough and I feel blessed to walk out of here knowing I will be ok. I couldn’t do it without you and will return to Greece one day. Completely Sober.
