Set on a 40-acre plot of land in the Appalachian Mountains, Carpenter’s Village is a men-only residential addiction treatment program operated by ARC. This holistic program incorporates a spiritual emphasis in their treatment approaching, using 12-Step programming and chaplaincy care. They also provide wellness based activities and vocational training to help men re-enter the workforce and live nourishing lives. Their vocational training program has 3 career path options: peer support, automotive work, or lawn care and property services.
Carpenter’s Village is a rural setting with one and a half miles of walking trails on the property. Residents can enjoy walking these trails, sitting by the pond, and an indoor swimming pool. Additionally, it is located one hour away from several state parks where there are opportunities to rock climb and hike. This tranquil setting provides a quiet setting for men to recover. Carpenter’s Village is accredited by CARF and accepts Kentucky Medicaid plans.
