Discovery Mood Kansas City is a residential program treating mental health conditions in adult clients ages 18 and older. Clients are treated on an individual basis, with their unique needs being taken into consideration to help them best achieve their recovery goals. The clinical staff uses a variety of evidence-based treatments including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT). Clients participate in both individual and group therapy sessions. Discovery Mood Kansas City is accredited by the Joint Commission and is in-network with most major insurance providers.
