The main program that is offered at the Bellaire location is a signature intensive outpatient program (IOP) that uses primarily dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) in a group setting. DBT sets the foundation for the program and then various other treatment modalities, psychoeducational groups, life skills, mindfulness yoga and experiential therapies are used on top of DBT. Adolescents and adults are in separate groups and The goal of the program is to treat underlying issues to foster long-term recovery and help clients learn and practice practical coping skills to live a better life. In addition to the IOP, clients can receive individual, couples and group therapy for mental health concerns at Bellaire.
