Located on 540-acres of a large private ranch, Warriors Heart creates a space designed for recovery specializing in traumatic events and substance abuse.
About Warriors Heart
Owned by veterans themselves, Warriors Heart understands first hand what veterans, military, law enforcement, firefighters, medical first responders, and other warriors are all going through, and it is their goal to help these warriors recover from substance abuse disorder and other co-occurring disorders. They specialize in PTSD and psychological effects of MTBI (mild traumatic brain injury), both of which are common amongst this field of work. The Warriors Heart Foundation was created separately out of necessity and is a 501(c)3 to assist in the funding of warriors who don’t have insurance or need assistance in the costs of treatment. Warriors Heart offers a variety treatment programs to treat warriors who seek relief from their addiction and PTSD. These programs include residential treatment, day treatment, outpatient, sober living, and detox.
Warriors Heart is on a large ranch in the Texas Hill Country northwest of San Antonio that provides serenity, space, and stillness within reach of the city’s amenities. The campus is designed to allow for healing after the stressful lives each warrior has had. On 543 acres, Warrior Hearts has comfortable suite-like rooms, chefs, a recreational room, an on-site gym, fishing ponds, running/walking trails, a fire pit, a wood and metal shop, a K-9 program, world-class clinical team, and plenty of space to reflect. Their goal is to take care of those who take care of us. Warrior Heart is Joint Commission accredited and a member of the NAATP.
